I am an introverted apocaloptimist. I am one of those people who is still trying to figure out what i want to be when i grow up. Of course i grew up many many years ago. Parenthood is the moment when a person's life changes immediately, radically and for ever. I look at the world, trying to be pragmatic. I look for the good and find that everywhere. Sometimes i am overwhelmed by life's potential. But generally, i am diligent about meeting my commitments. When i do commit to something, i try to give it my all. Life is essentially to be enjoyed. But i don not take a narrow minded view of that pleasure. I prefer to create an environment of sustained and shared pleasure. The price of selfish pleasure is usually too high. I am very much polyamorous, even when i have no romantic partners, which is rare. I like each relationship to last forever, but realistically all things come to an end sooner or later. More particularly, i am solo poly/ non-hierarchical. And for all that, i do have my flaws.
What I am looking for
I want to find a good person that makes me laugh and i make them laugh. Someone that is happy staying home and cooking with me but still enjoys getting out to explore the city or places off the beaten path...curling up in front of a fire with dogs and cats at our side.I would love to have a dry cleaning moment, where your eyes meet and we are both goners...is that going to happen? Doubtful so i putting myself out there...I don't necessarily believe "my Match" is here in my backyard so i'm open minded to search pass Kansas City...we can figure the rest as we go along. Looking for that person with the same mind set...
